Day 1

Arrive in Paramaribo, Suriname

Start your journey in the vibrant heart of Suriname. Our dedicated representative will meet and greet you at the airport and escort you to your accommodation in the heart of Paramaribo.
You will enjoy the rest of the evening at your own leisure.

Overnight: Joah's Inn or Similar

Days 2-3

Anaula Nature Resort

Departure from Paramaribo to Atjoni, then a canoe trip to Anaula Nature Resort.
Exploration of the island and the Ferulassi rapids.
Evening caiman spotting and learning about Saramaccan culture.
Village walk in New Aurora, bush walk around the island, and cultural dance performance.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Anaula Nature Resort

Day 4

Departure Anaula Nature Resort

Morning at leisure, optional excursion.
Afternoon return to Atjoni and transfer to Paramaribo.

Overnight at hotel.

Overnight: Joah's Inn or similar

Day 5

Fly to Georgetown, Guyana

Day 6-7

Iwokrama Rainforest

Drive to Iwokrama, Settle in.
Hike to the summit of Turtle Mountain, wildlife spotting.
Evening cruise on the Essequibo River, spotting black caiman and other nocturnal creatures.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Iwokrama River Lodge

Day 8

Canopy Walkway Tour and Surama

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Surama Eco-Lodge

Day 9

Explore Burro Burro River

Dawn walk to Surama Mountain, bird watching.
Lunch in the village, walk to the Burro Burro River.
Paddle along the river, wildlife spotting.
Return to the village for sunset and dinner.

Meals: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Overnight at Surama Eco-Lodge.

Day 10

Travel to Georgetown / Transfer to Sloth Island Resort

Depart to Lethem, flight to Georgetown.
Drive to Parika, boat along the Essequibo River to Sloth Island.
Exploration of Sloth Island’s flora and fauna.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight at Sloth Island Nature Resort.

Day 11

Return to Georgetown

Exploration and relaxation on Sloth Island.
Afternoon boat ride back to Parika and transfer to Georgetown.

Overnight in Georgetown.

Day 12

Kaieteur Falls Day Trip

Day trip to Kaieteur Falls.
Explore the surrounding area, spotting the unique golden frog and the Guianan cock-of-the-rock.
Return to Georgetown and overnight.

Day 13


Free time depending on the flight schedule.
Transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
