The Guyana Amazon is one of the most biologically diverse areas in South America. The jungle is home to many species of birds and wild life. Itinerary

1st Day:- Reception. Meet Dagron Tour staff members in the city of Georgetown. Travel by bus to Annai and Surama village, passing rich rainforest and eventually to Sanvannah grasslands. Learn about the Amerindian culture with an expert guide. Overnight in the Surama Guest House.


2nd Day:- Canoe down the river and observe parrots, toucans, monkeys and many other animal and plant species. Dine amidst the splendor of the rainforest and take an after-dinner walk through the jungle to observe insects.

3rd Day:- Jungle walk accompanied by an Amerindian guide. Learn about the Amerindian culture, the various medicinal plants they use and how they do things like imitate the sounds of different birds, etc. Return to the guest house. Eat lunch and then go fishing in the afternoon. Night tour to watch crocodiles.

4th Day:- Very early in the morning, navigate the river to observe birds and mammals. Breakfast. Jungle walk - observe more animal and plant species. Return to camp. Lunch. In the afternoon, navigate a nearby lake in paddle canoes. Dinner.  Night walk to watch crocodiles.

5th Day:- Breakfast. Travel upstream to the Rupununi River. In the afte

6th Day:- Pack and travel upstream to catch the bus to Georgetown. Eat lunch on the way. Overnight in Georgetown hotel.
